Who would pay $125k for a Saleen s281? Good lord.

My buddy owns #121 03 convertible
1 of 5 verts and 1of 1 Satin Silver. Original owner. Not for sale.
He was offered $70k 5 -6 years ago.
An OW 04 vert sold recently for $100k
In 10 years $125k will seem like a deal IMO

I mean I get it. Same deal with imports (Supra, R33/34, etc.) which are fetching astronomical figures. I'd take a 03/04 over a saleen any day of the week.

I think you're misunderstanding what he's looking for.

There were a VERY small amount of 03/04 COBRAS that were sent straight to Saleen, to create the mighty 03/04 Saleen Cobra. They are worth their weight in gold these days.
