I think its pretty much in line with the 03s going for 35000 3 years ago and this car being a new body style. I would like to have one but for the price, I would go with a C6.

Sure it's a lot. But in retrospect a friend of mine paid over $40K for a '04 Mystichrome Vert. Is it really that out of line to pay $42K for a GT500.Coupe? I guess we wont know for sure until this car gets in the hands of some real enthusiasts and truly known what it's capable of.
I don't feel it is out of line for a new 2007 500hp factory muscle car! What would anyone expect 37K?! :rolleyes:Anything else thats 500hp and new out there is a whole alot more money by far!!! To me its still the best looking and priced 500hp car on the market today(no matter what it weighs),...period!!

So since the majority of these things will come with all the options, its going to be 45k mrsp total eh.

Then add in tax and the weak adjusted market values will push this car up to 65k and that is just for a coupe, vert will prolly be in the 70k range, is it worth that much?

They wont sell. Not at that price, they will be discounted midway through summer.

How long have you been around?

Compared to a 2000 Cobra "R" for 56k this is a steal! Oh, and by the way, that was six years ago!?!?

You have no clue! :read:
You have no fuc#king clue dork. The Cobra R was a specialty Mustang with a suspension and aftermarket parts that are miles ahead of the Shelby. Go ahead a buy one, and get ripped off like an idiot.

Yes a coupe loaded will cost/MSRP/for $45,060.00,not a bad price for 500,plus HP. I'm a 2003-S281Cobra#97-owner and cannot wait until my 07/White/Blue-Coupe Loaded with all options,Shelby Gt500 comes in. I was able to make a deal for MSRP,also for this unit.So I'm vert lucky. Just mt thoughts,
