I think Ford does that on purpose, you get first pick of the same number car from before.

I can't actually remember where I read that and if it was for the FGT or something different.

Nah. There's a teeny, tiny bit of flexibility with VINs, especially early when things were slow, but the reality is that the majority of people won't have any chance to have matching VINS just because of the disparity in production totals. So they won't really be taking requests for that. I'm sure if the stars align though, they'll try to make it happen.

And, er, no he did not buy two.

I recall where I read that, it was about the F1 and the P1.

It just seemed too similar I had to figure it was with this car. My bad.

Anyone else think the photo sequence of the car being built on the "hospital bed" was extremely cool?

I'm know there are/have been a handful of other cars that are hand built, but I've never really seen a series of photos as the car takes form in one place like these.
