Those are obviously good knives reading the reviews. Not cheap thought, but I don't know jack about knives.

$99 is cheap. Good knifes will cost well over $200. One of the guys at work has a pocket knife that cost over $800. Hell, I thought I paid a lot for a Case knife at $189.00 But it is 10 times better than the $35-40 pocket knifes I had previously owned. That $800 pocket knife was bad ass. But for that kind of money, I would buy another Pistol.

I received a USMC Ka-Bar as a gift after boot camp from a family friend who was a Marine in Vietnam. It's okay, but I wouldn't say it's great quality. I carried it for a bit on my pistol belt before switching it over to tomahawks. A tomahawk kill would be much more gratifying.

I like Gerbers. Excellent knives.

I'm familiar with Tomahawk kills - the submarine launched variety.

I believe it's made in the U.S.A. My Ka-Bar US Navy Vietnam knife box says Made In USA. This one is pretty cool. I don't want to start collecting knives (LOL) but this is one that I COULD add and me happy since it looks like my Navy knife. I like this sheath better than my leather one.

If you collect knives a KA-BAR fighting knife is a must have. They are pretty iconic knives and they don't cost much. I'm not crazy about the powder blue one.

My Dad gave me the Ka-Bar he carried in Vietnam. As well as the M6 bayonet (M14) and the M7 bayonet (M16). All well worn. ;)

I'm not sure I have any knives worth less than $91. And I thinned my herd quite a bit 18 months ago. If it is any good, that would be a good deal.
