KB BAP Blew a fuse

While my car was on the dyno we was doing a pump gas low timing pull and on 16 lb pull my BAP blew a 30amp fuse over and over. The grounds are good and i have dual gt supercar pumps in there. Has this happend to anyone before if so what was the problem. THanks

Hmm thats weird, better to have it blow while getting it tuned than be driving around and having it blow and not knowing it...

yeah i know, Im about to go return style and have a big external pump and say screw it.

I dont know for sure , but it would most LIKELY be installation error. IMO. :beer:

Quite possible, they are not exactly famous for blowing fuses right and left on people.

I may have a different model but my BAP takes a 40 amp fuse not a 30.:shrug:

Also, does it have a correctly installed wire upgrade?

That's my first thought. The 20amp BAP I have has a 30amp fuse. Is this a newly installed BAP? If so, you may wanna check to verify it's actually a 40 amp BAP. I mistakenly got a 20amp BAP. It should be stamped with "17 30" on the bottom.

Currently looking for a 40amp BAP....
