I am getting ready to bolt on my 2.8 and currently run a 10% lower, and I am debating if I should remove the lower and run the 3" upper, or keep the lower and run the 3.25". Is boost about the same either way or does the 3.25 and 10% make a little more? If the latter combo makes a little mroe boost I would rather run that set up, but if they make the same amount, I would probably rather sell it to use the money for other mods.

I had a lower on my car already when I went to the KB. I decided to just put the 3.25 upper on the KB.

I am about 21.5 lbs of boost with an offroad xpipe and 3 inch catback; Which makes me run torco full time.

So you are at 21.5 with the 3.25 and 10% lower? I thought that is what it would be with the 3" and 10% OD lower??

The 3.25 upper and 10% OD can make 19 to 21 lbs of boost in the higher RPM range.

3.25" Upper with stock lower at 6300 RPM is 15 lbs of boost
3.00" Upper with stock lower at 6300 RPM is 17 lbs of boost

Take the RPM higher and you will produce more boost.

Thanks Van. I just need to get a few miscelaneous things form KB (gasket, o-ring, sc oil, bolts, etc) and then I will be getting with you for a tune :)
