I've actually thought about replacing my Lexus with one of these. Love the looks of the car and I know I'd get plenty of use out of the AWD.

they are that way here also...drip rails and cab corners you can put a football through.

Mine is unscathed in those areas

I do however have a passenger side rocker panel I'm keeping an eye on. Boooo!

So, post up a pic of your mansion.

HAHA. An 1100 sq. ft. ranch from the 60s is not a mansion bud. Was just a comment on the lack of variety in the houses. Calm down, have another beer, not trying to start a pissing war with anyone. :coolman:

EDIT: My 'mansion' :lol1:

'02 Ford Explorer w/190,000 miles that I've had for the last 8 years. DD for my 70 mile round trip (19mpg), tows the quads, hauled 1,680lbs of cement bags in the back and has been fairly reliable for the most part.

Took this picture this morning when I went for breakfast:

^^I miss my 02 explorer, my current beater is an 02 prizm (fiance's old car) that burns oil like no other. I'd like to get another late (04-05) 3rd gen explorer v8 since we do camping/lake stuff it's nice to be able to tow.

My mom use to have one, that thing would fly haha. Got pretty good gas mileage if you kept your foot off it too.

Here's my beater. Not the best pic but all I have. It's a 00 5.0 with 150k on it. Bought it with 50k and has been a great truck no real problems out of it. It's real clean inside and out and everything works.

2000 Hyundai Tiburon, 135k miles. It has the worst build quality of any car I’ve ever been in. Super loud stock exhaust, everything rattles, and ANYTHING that’s electrical breaks - windshield wipers, all sensors, even the basic clock in the cockpit. It was my sisters car in high school, and I bought it from her a couple years ago. I am a single 33 year old male, and I drive this, and it’s embarrassing.

I have the sedan version of this guys^^^^ Tiburon. 03 Elantra 150k miles on this odometer. Original odometer broke so no idea how many miles are on the car. 200whp on 80+hp hit of nitrous, full bolt ons, full suspension and a big brake upgrade...
Fun car and has never failed me.

Truck has closer to 320,000 on it now still original transmission and engine, in fact the only thing that has broke on it was a knock sensor!

120k miles. Thing is a tank.

Was refurbished for some "bounty hunter" guy, but he backed out of the deal and so I scooped it up for cheap. I wasn't looking for something that looked like a cop car, just love the Crown Vic for its huge interior and a trunk that can hide 5 dead bodies.

I must say, it is also nice when everyone gets the **** out of your way on the highway. Not so nice when you get stuck behind someone doing 5 under on a two lane road.

In typical SVTP fashion, some have to post brand new 40k-50k plus vehicles.

It's a beater thread....not a pissing match on who has more money for daily drivers.

Anyway...continue on faggits.

Agree. Half the cars in this thread are not beaters.

Here is a real beater thread: http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...Ultimate-REAL-beaters-pos-daily-driver-thread

I still have that Accord. 380 something thousand miles now. The car was down for a while in the winter after racing (and beating) a 4door S10 it lost a little piece of a valve. The engine nomnom'd that up no problem but after I took the head off within a couple days a snow storm buried the car and it wasn't fixed until Spring. I got a low mileage head from the junkyard and milled it myself by hand on glued down 100 grit sandpaper sheets. I took too much metal off and the compression is cranked up but it is a little tire burner now.
