I would probably go with the first one. It looks like less of a project car.

As for the second Svt, I've known the owner a little bit over on FocusFanatics.com and he was looking into geting it back to stock. I'm a little surprised he's selling it but from what I've seen, it needs a lot of cosmetic work to be done. The drivetrain may be pretty solid, though.

That second car is a mess. I just sold mine a few months ago and was glad to do so and it was in much better shape than either of those cars.

Find the cleanest car you can with the options you want, a neglected SVT is going to need a bunch of work.

If properly cared for they can be great cars but if neglected they are money pits.

Timing belt and clutch are the two biggest concerns.

When in doubt go with the adult driven car...buy from a mid-life crisis type...these cars are tough to keep on the road without spending Benjamins...if dealer maintained definitely go with that one...DO NOT buy from a youngin'!
