Nice music...That was a dumb video..Did I miss something or did they not even show the hp and tq? On a side note the cars sounded good. I like the raspy stock exhaust. But damn, sit through all that terrible music and dont even get numbers at the end of the vid. And why is this in the time slip section? I didnt see any time slips?

Well Ill be damned 5% drivetrain loss in the 2013? Damn Ford is on their game.

Look at the 03-04 Cobras then the 07-12 GT-500s. They seem to put down about 20-40rwhp less then what they are rated for on an overall average.

It was just a simple deduction.

I figure the 2013 will put down 570-590. Unless they underrated it. Which is def possible ;)

^ thats a deff possibility, seems they under rate everything since the drama from the '99 cobra's. I dont see the '13 putting down more than 600 to the wheels tho, can't wait to see one get put to the test tho!

They also use a mustang dyno so its going to read a little lower, or at least thats what the walls say.

One was on Mustang, other on Dynojet. Mustang was 508/496 I believe. Dynojet was 518/513.

I'm pretty pleased with the numbers from a stock car and only 7lbs. Will it be enough to hold off the GT500? Not likely. I'm guessing the GT500 if released at "650hp" will put down 570-580.

ZL1 will make that with pulley/tune but the GT500 has the advantage of better internals by a LARGE margin. ZL1 needs forged internals to play with the GT500s mod for mod.

I really like the ZL1's not gonna lie but at the same time. Gather some wood and kerosine. Light the fire and let the ZL1 Slaughters begin :D

These numbers confuse me... I've not seen any 1/4 mile passes that reflect that kind of power output... could it be the press tests were in less powerful cars?

Or as standard press drivers aren't spectacular. The car is still a heavy pig. I suspect stock ones will be mid-high 11s. Look at the CTS-V and that will tell you how it should run.

Well... even the press can't screw up trap speeds too bad. Their GPS equipment and correction factors assist them greatly these days. lol

As stated, I bet they go mid-high 11s and wouldn't be surprised to see them in the 119-121 range.

Music seems to fit the car and vid if you ask me. Numbers sound right to me my buddys CTS-V with a stick made 480rwhp stock and 560rwhp with pulley, tune , intake , exhaust but still has stock manifolds. Not sure about them making 600rwhp with pulley and tune. Also if you think a GT500 heat soaks fast with a pulley the ZL1 & CTS-V are good for a few pulls then its cool down time.
