Main/Rod Bearings

Hey guys I am in the process of building a high compression shortblock for a ported eaton car. Curious as to what main and rod bearings you guys are running. Everything is standard size. Any info is greatly appreciated!

The embedibility of them is fantastic, plus you can get a one-piece thrust bearing. Read the PDF at the end of the post - great info.

Clevite HK

I've used Clevite in all my builds and never had an issue. On tear down after years of beating on the motor the bearings still look new. Its also what my local machine shop recommended and used.

Are you going to go with the special rear 5th bearing from kings that I see a lot of people running?

Hadn't thought about it. I did see something for that but it was a seperate kit and it was going in a aluminum block.
