Wanted to ask.....mine is miserable taking off from a stop in 1st or reverse..

And slight incline as well it sudders pretty bad too.

I feel like im 12 year old trying to learn how to drive a stick!!

Is yours like this to or is iy smooth taking off.

Thanks in advance......mines on the way back to mantic

I dont have personal experience mantic twin disk. But alot of the twin disc clutchs will shutter when draging the clutch. Its more of a new learning way to drive. Does the clutch mechanically working correctly? Any odd noises?

well, people need to remember twin discs are harsh clutches. Couple that with a 1 piece driveshaft and some solid rear parts and shuttering gets worse.
I think it more has to do with clutch drag. Adjust your style a little and it wont be as bad.
Twin disc tend to make a little noise on engagement as well. my RXT will squeak if I try to combat the little shutter with some feathering.
Its just one of those things you learn to deal with for the sake of making power.

There is less slip with a twin disk setup, my SPEC P trim has a little shudder on takeoff with street driving.

I'm running a Centerforce, but pretty normal from my experience. Even after the break in period it was no where near as smooth taking off as the stock clutch. Just keep driving it - a few thousand miles later and it seems to be much better. Either that or I've just learned to deal with it better, probably a bit of both.

You need a little more rpm on take off and it should move out smoothly. At least that is what I have found with my McLeod RXT. A couple hundred more rpm than what you think would "normally" be necessary.
