How fast is that camaro without spray?
The c63 with mods is an 11.3 car at 123. Its is very conceivable that camaro can spray run an 11.5+ and get beat.

Andy did that gtr have a tune or was it stock?

What you are seeing is the top end of a M156. When the C63 really walks the Camaro it's between 150-170mph. Where the Camaro's gearing causes it to fall on it's face.

With a tune only C63s trap 172mph in the mile, a stock ZR1 will do 179, a Carrera GT will do 178, we have gotten them to 180.73 so far N/A without cams.

Very few cars (even 550whp GTRs can't) can hang with a C63 up top.

Very nice runs, and nice C63. You guys have done a lot of impressive things with that platform. However, I have a hard time believing that Camaro has a h/c/nitrous LS2..If it were, it would

a.) not dead hook like that from the hit, (looked a 6spd on 17/18inch wheels). Sprayed LSX cars are ANIMALS from the hit, they don't accelerate that smoothly.
b.) be a lot quicker :banana:

I understand what you're saying about gearing, HOWEVER, until the Camaro shifts into 5th it should have pulled like a raped ape against a simple bolt-on C63. A Heads/cam/nitrous LS2 will trap 130-132mph++ EASILY. That was a slow pull from start to finish. No way is a car down 120rwhp+ that weighs 400lbs more going to hang under 100mph regardless of superior gearing.

I appreciate what you're saying and I don't disagree with the numbers you state, however please keep in mind that tune/DP GTRs also trap 128-130 and the C63 walked it as well. Same goes for the stock ZR1s and Carrera GTs in the standing mile (this roll was up to 170mph so closer to a standing mile than 1/4 mile), at those speeds it's not just gearing but aero and length of powerband as well. However with the same mods as the C63 in the vid plus ported stock heads with stock cams, we beat them in the mile as well 180.73 vs 179 ZR1/179 ZR1/178 Carerra GT.

Camaro's with those mods are monsters but shifting into OD 5th gear is game over. Also factor in we don't know shot size, it very well may have been only a 75 shot if he was on pump gas. We do know it had spray, the owners talked after racing and showed each others cars to each other, just not sure how much.
