I have Magnaflow catted X, with their cat back. Honestly Im thinking of going to a catted H because I like the deeper rumble sound, but when I drive it and get up around 4k in 2nd thru 4th it is kick ass sounding and makes it a tough decision.

I have an O/R X but I think I am going with an O/R H or the stocker. It really depends on your CB and your preference in what sounds good.

just had a balance tube welded in up by the collectors on my bbk xpipe it sounds 200% better, i'm also using flows which is a bad combo, the raspy tiny sound is completely gone but still retainng that great mid to top end x pipe sound!

You have a nice setup, and I see you did the smart thing and bought the Bassani X-pipe which bolts right to their headers with no cutting.

I have a question. With your setup I would have expected you to be in up around 420rwhp. I see that you're in Colorado, so are you in a higher elevation area? Just curious. Again, nice setup. I liked my Magnaflow catted X-pipe/Steeda catback setup but never got to go with the Bassani mid-lengths which were on my list.

I have the Maggi catted X and it sounds nice. I went with the x because they say it makes the most power, but it can sound a little exotic. I prefer the sound of the H pipe, but I can't see swapping it out for just the sound. It does sound sweet at wide open throttle though.

What about the prochamber? I currently have an off road x and hate the sound it makes with the factory cat back. I just ordered a mac cat back. If it still has that dirty raspy sound with the mac, I will be getting a prochamber to take the raspiness out of the sound.

Does the MRT catted H pipe make your exhaust any louder? I'm trying to decide between a ProChamber or MRT H pipe to go with my Mac 3" CB.

I have the Magnaflow catted x and cat-back. Took a while to get use to the tone of the x-pipe. If I had to do it over again..I would get the MRT catted h-pipe.

I dont think catted midpipes will make that much difference in how loud it is i think it just changes the pitch

becuase i had steeda cat-back on mine and thought it sounded pretty good but i wanted it a little louder so I got their x pipe w/cats and it barely made it louder but it changed the pitch a lot. It also made my car sound different from all the other gts, mach 1s, and cobras around my parts so i like that. but if i could do it agian i think I would get bassani x pipe with removable cats.

does anyone know if I could get headers and make it louder?
or would it just change the pitch?

how bout gut the mufflers?
