I just got in from Atco raceway and today was the perfect air day I waited for.
My hope for my car was a 10.85 after all the work I had done with supercharging it.
I did 4 runs today and they were as follows :
1. 10.89 at 128.20 mph with a 1.607 short time
2. 10.87 at 129.05 mph with a 1.601 short time
3. 10.83 at 129.63 mph with a 1.594 short time
4. 10.84 at 129.24 mph with a 1.599 short time.
I have 2 slips that beat the Hell-FatCat and exceeded my 10.85 hope.
It was a nice 72 mile drive home and even nicer getting 26.2 mpg on the turnpike.
For now , I am done racing this year and have no plans for any more mods until I replace the engine bottom end.
That depends on how long it lasts which I assume will be a while.
