Mixing Amsoil 10w40 and Amsoil MCF 10w40

Just picked up a 2008 CBR600rr and I'm going to change the oil tomorrow morning.

The only place I can find that sells Amsoil around here only has 2 quarts of Amsoil 10w-40 MCF ( AMSOIL - SAE 10W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil (MCF) )and 2 quarts of normal Amsoil 10w-40 ( AMSOIL - SAE 10W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil (AMO) ). I need 3 quarts. Would it be a problem if I mix the 2 different kinds?

Called Amsoil tech support and was told that you can mix them without a problem.

You are correct. Many people do not know this, but the Motorcycle versus car formulations are very close. Both are approved for wet clutch use.

The mc oil won't have any friction modifiers in them because of the wet clutch but compensate with extra zddp which is an anti-wear agent. In a hot climate or during the summer you shouldn't have any issue using those 2 oils.
