Here are the mods and HP over all of the changes to my Shelby thru the years. I never had a true base line as the car was stock for about 5 miles. Things to note, the upper pulley was only worth 7HP. Then adding the headers dropped the psi. Even though I had an O/R pipe on it before, the headers opened up the sound at 2500rpms. Finally with the 10% OD, per the dash gauge, the air fuel at idle is a little richer. When they took it all a part, there was very little oil inside the cooler. Score one for Bob. All the HP levels mentioned are SAE5 and run on the same dyno. Can't wait to see how it runs at the track. Next year, gears.
--> CJ Mono Blade TB - JLT 127mm Carbon Fiber Intake – MRT O/R H-Pipe – Tune (102) - BMR LCA/panhard - 315 NT05R - CR Racing Heat Exchanger – (670HP/653TQ/18.11psi)(11.36 at 129mph)
--> 2.39” Upper Pulley - 90mm idler pulley - BOB’s Oil Separators – (677HP/665TP/18.69psi) (11.16 at 129mph)(ran slightly smaller tires and skinnys).
--> ARH headers O/R H-pipe (708HP/683TQ/17.0psi)
--> ATI 10% OD – ARP Crank stud – Thump tensioner – KB Bigun intercooler – (765HP/740TQ/20.8psi)
Here’s my latest dyno
Here’s the dyno after the headers. Sound quality is better
Here are all 4 dyno’s put together and some shots of the latest work.
Note the black lines marked out, this is how much was grinded away to help the new cooler.
The new pulley with Kinetic's crank saver stud.
