More issues....

Good news: Well I received my start up file from my tuner the other night, loaded it to the car and started her for the first time sine the new motor build and blower install!

Bad news: after a few minutes she started to smoke from under the car. I shut it down and I have two oil leaks. One on the timing cover and one on the back side if the motor :/
The timing cover leak is small and should be an easy fix for the most part. The one on the back side if the motor however is going to be a pain in the ass. I was hoping it was the oil pan, but I put the car in stands today and it appears to be coming from the back if the passenger side head. This is what it looks like anyways. I started her again today and she ran like shit and wouldn't stay running. The exhaust also smoked so its leading me to believe tie the head gasket not sealing. The smoke started out a whitish color and then turned darker (almost black) :(

Sooo. I think I have to pull the head and replace a gasket.
Thoughts?

Sounds like a simple leaking gasket or missing some silicone where the factory requires it. Best of luck! Should be a simple fix!

hopefully... its just a little discerning to finally get her all together and started, only to have to tear the blower and head off to swap a damn gasket (if that's what it is).

i know how it is. i did a motor swap and the car started smoking after messing with it for 3 months. found out the pass side valve cover was leaking on the lower back corner(firewall side) it was easy to fix, i added some rtv along the gasket to keep it from leaking again.
