what did you remove to get her down to 3500 lbs?
great time!

Thanks.

Weight reduction comes from slicks/skinnies, tubular front end, solid axle, aftermarket seats/rear delete and lightweight battery. Only problem is I added back in a bunch of weight with rollbar, SFI bellhousing, subframes and icebox.

Thanks bub. At least this time I used my own laptop to datalog, since yours died on me in the staging lanes :bash:

lol, when my battery only has 2 hours of life and you are in the staging lanes for 2 hours and 1 minute there is not alot that can be done.

I have a feeling that there are going to be some very impressive time slips this Fall from the Eaton guys. When I bought my car I thought getting into the 10's with an Eaton and the T56 would be an incredible accomplishment. Now I believe that there will be a handful of guys running mid 10's with this combo. Just goes to show what a lot of work and little bit of money can do.

Yeah Chris, there's been a nice resurgence of late with folks pushing the Eaton powered Terminators. The twin screw has been the most popular way of going "fast" for so long, but......We're Back!!!

The track day in November would/could be an historical event if we can pull if off. Thus far, I've contacted the following folks and everyone has shown strong interest in attending:

F8LSNAKE..................10.48 @ 130.56 w/ 1.47 (6spd/SRA)
sonic03snake..............10.55 @ 130.35 w/ 1.44 (6spd/SRA)
Soap.........................10.75 @ 127.81 w/ 1.54 (6spd/SRA)
SJ-KY........................10.79 @ 127.28 w/ 1.58 (6spd/IRS)
CobraStruck...............10.80 @ 125.74 w/ 1.61 (6spd/IRS)
94-98Transam.............10.88 @ 125.50 w/ 1.48 (6spd/IRS)
Rice Eatr....................10.95 @ 131.18 w/ 1.65 (6spd/SRA)
mjcchristo..................10.96 @ 125.09 w/ 1.52 (6spd/IRS)
IronTerp.....................10.99 @ 130.39 w/ 1.63 (6spd/IRS)
Sprayed Daily.............10.30 @ 133.63 w/ 1.38 (6spd/SRA) (nitrous)

Edit: It's November so I'll be in a tree for Modern Firearms Season for Deer.

Hey Dwight, have you thought about contacting any of the mags to see if they would be interested in covering it? If most of us are able to make it this would be and awesome little event.

That would be awesome. MM&FF are always at JDM doing articles, maybe Evan Smith and a photo guy would swing down to MIR for some coverage.

Heck they don't even have to set anything up.......just make sure the track is prepped to kill ;-)

I agree, it wouldn't take much. Either way, it should be a lot of fun.

Don't want to side track Joe's 10.75 thread.........Too great of an accomplishment!!!

But, a real strong chance we could get some neat coverage of this event. Lot of resources in this area and MIR is a very respected drag racing venue. Plenty of issues we need to decide on as we work towards this. One of which is do we "allow" twin screws in?!?!?!? (Brian!)

Great job man! I didn't know that there were so many people running in the 10s with the stock/ported eatons. I have to tell my dad about this. I think it is about time our 04 got a Steggy Stage 5 ported eaton. Just wondering...does anyone know what is the highest amount of boost you can run with a ported eaton? Sorry if I got off topic. Again to Soap...Good job man!

I see that u put that eaton/nitrous car in there.. a while back i saw an eaton/nitrous car go 9.99.. its somewhere on this forum.. edit-just saw that these are people u contacted, and not a list of eaton cars in the 10s..

I think it is really impressive, getting an eaton in the 10s!

That's what I'm talkin about, a prepped to kill track, some good air and let the fun begin. I've got to make it up there one way or another.

I don't see anything wrong with letting the twinscrew cars in too. More the merrier imo. Let turbo guys come too, I like seeing alot of different combos.

Im pumped about the meet. Its great seeing people throw down good #'s with anything, plus beating the balls out of their stuff is even better.

I know, I've been pumped since lunch when I read the list Dwight posted up. It especially be awesome if we can get MM&FF to cover it.
