Well I guess I'll start by telling the story of the car I snatched up my dream car (03 cobra) at a great price but there was a reason for the good price... Car is a 03 10th anniversary torch red coupe but was involved in an accident the first year it was bought witch totaled the car and thus having a salvage title.. Witched didn't bother me I don't plan on ever getting rid of the car and or trying to resale to make money... But anyway that being said the car had 49k miles a 2.3 whipple and supporting mods it was repaired good but didn't care for the black stripes that were painted on it also a year before I purchased the car it was out in a hail storm and received hail damage so with all that I decided to make the car the color I always wanted a 03 cobra in sonic blue... So after rambling on about the background of the car here is some pics of what I've been doing to the car... All work by me and some helping hands of my friends... Some will respect others will say how could you but feel free to comment on what you think of my build thanks

Awesome!! Definitely the way to paint a car a different color. Leave no hint of the old color. Ironic thing is I also bought a cobra that was salvaged title amd had stripes lol

Nicely done. I love the color change. SB has always been my favorite color on the cobra's. What are you doing with the interior?

Nice work. Really didn't cheap out on this, It's going to look great when done. It sounds like you were dead set on SB but I would be hard pressed to keep it a factory 03-04 color.

good thing about an R-title is you can do whatever you want and not damage resale... makes building what you want alot easier... Looks mint!

I will say I have a TR and always wish it was a 10th anniversary lol, but if you're going to do a color change, you did it the right way. Great progress, can't wait to see pics when it's finished.

coming out awesome man, keep up the good work! I'm glad you painted it the right way and didn't leave the engine bay red, I hate that crap lol. And I cant complain about the color change, but I favor the new color a little.... lol.
