I’ve had 2 S197 GT500s.
A 13 and a 14 both with similar set ups before moving on and both were 700+ on a set up close to yours.

I’ve watched some videos as well where they install different stages of power packs. May be VMP, but anyways, yes, they were closer to 700whp.

You’re fine with your tuner.
I made 1110rwhp on that dyno so I know it well.
Made 1025 thru stock mufflers actually but the rest of exhaust was aftermarket.
Hopefully I’ll see you at Lidio or a local event this year.

Noted. Guess it’s time to find one. Anything else I can do to make more power with the 2.3 or is a blower swap the best option
Stock 2.3 is fine.
It’s an air pump and that’s a positive displacement blower so you want to eliminate restrictions before and after.
You have good exhaust mods so look to the CAI, TB and elbow to pick up big.
My ported blower made 750rwhp on a dynojet. Built motor and ported Gen2R 2.3 was good for 965rwhp but was out of blower for a cammed built motor.
You can trap 130 on a stock blower with a sorted combo easy.

Good to know, thanks. So the JLT 123mm isn’t big enough then? I’m weighing out the cost of upgraded TB and elbow versus saving up for a bigger blower.

I’ve got upgraded rods and pistons and I’m going to make use of them however I can.

I’m currently sorting out the rear end, tires and brakes so more power mods are probably on hold till next fall unless a deal that’s too good to pass up catches my eye.

Any tips on a budget drag pack for these cars? I can’t find anything in regards to fitment or wheel pics that isn’t a few years old. Trying to make the old girl look as good as she runs.

I'll be headed there probably in March to get the rear end done.

Also thinking of maybe doing something with the exhaust.
