Well last week we took my small block chevy over to an engine dyno to do some tuning and some break in, the motor will be going in my 1980 chevrolet monza, the car is going to weigh about 2200 without me (2450 with me), so it should put me in the 9's.

First pull with my 750cfm carb it only made 518hp, one bank was dead rich and the other was dead lean, we tried a 2" tapered spacer and it went up to about 552hp, still rich on one bank and lean on the other, we then decided to slap my friends 950cfm carb on there, after a little tweaking it ended up making 608hp. The max we got out of it was 612, here is a video of a 610hp pull.

Congratulations! Sounds really nice. I had a Callaway 383 in my old '94 Camaro but it put down 450hp. Measly compared to that stout 610.
