I just purchased this 1989 Mustang. I had a 2012 GT that I had sold about 8 months back. I couldn't stay away from Mustangs too long, and after driving this car I'm in love all over again. I'll add a list of mods it has, but my favorite has got to be the fact that it's already supercharged. The only issue is I have a common issue which is the idle surging. Should being calling AED tomorrow and see when I can take it in to get the whole car looked over. Excited to be back in a Mustang!:rockon::rockon::rockon::rockon::rockon::

Good luck with AED. I dont think they work on foxbodies anymore unless you've got a built setup (straight race car). I would see if you can get in contact with StreakMatt and have him look @ it.

Thanks guy! I'm really enjoying this car. Exact look I wanted. I appreciate the recommendations to people in the area "NorCal" who can possibly help with the idle surge issue.

Nice car. Idle surge is typically a vacuum leak. I am not familiar with the vacuum setups in vortech or boosted applications in general, but I can tell you that in my case I had an idle surge that was caused by leaving open breathers in the valve covers while running a stock pcv setup. This allows the valve covers to breathe in unmetered air. So you either run a functional pcv and cap the valve covers (with a vent tube to throttle body), or run open breather valve covers with no pcv setup. An egr valve that is improperly ran straight to manifold vacuum instead of to the egr solenoid can also make the timing advance and idle surge.

Thanks! PM'd ya!
That thing has "sleeper" written all over it. Especially if you put a set Pony reps on it.
I love it, people don't expect hearing that loud whine.
Nice looking fox
Thanks!
I seen this on craigslist.
Congrats on you new fox
I had my eye on it for a little while, and decided to pick it up. Thanks!
Nice car man! Always loved the coupes!
Thanks! My brother also has a coupe and after driving his I realized how much fun these cars are.

There's another Fox/Hatchback in the area here with a Novi 1000 Paxton and supporting mods for $5500. No smog though :/

I have a similar setup in my 93, what kind of power does that make?
I was told it made 365HP running 8Lbs of boost. On what he said was a "modest" tune. I guess when I actually take the car to get tuned again we'll really see.
