With your coolant setup like it is, Are you getting alot of pressure on the upper hose between the t stat and motor? I have pretty much the same setup and i get so good amount of pressure on the upper hose because the bypass hose is removed from the stock setup.

Not that I recall, but I do have a couple holes drilled in my t-stat

I have a few questions since I am currently in the middle of going turbo.

What material did you use on your turbo piping?
304, 321 or mild steel.

Which maf are you using. We are shooting for over 1000whp and I've yet to find one good for that, what is everyone using.

Did you remove your core support, I notice it's missing in some pictures.

The headers are stainless but not sure what type..I bought them 2nd hand

Crossover is mild steel

Cold side is aluminum

Pro-m slot style meter in 3" tube

No core support right now..when winter rolls around I might try and modify it to make it work

th400 swap is complete...While I was at it I went switch from 3.55 gears to 3.31 gears...Was able to squeeze a B&M ratchet shifter under the stock boot and keep it look mostly stock inside

Everything went smooth with the install just gotta work out a couple driveability issues to sort through

Might take it to the track weekend if everything goes well

Now that's the way the shifter should look.

I was going to use that knob but I just couldn't stand having the button on top so I went with a speed dawgs knob.

Looken good man, did you figure out why it was running weird?

Not really...But Bob sent me a tune with 02's disabled and I have put about 50 miles on it and the car runs and drives perfect(as best I can tell)...

As long as it doesnt rain on Friday we will be heading to the track to make some passes to make sure the problem isnt effecting power

Cool, might just have been a o2 going bad. I know they can cause some drivability issues when one of the fronts go bad.

Plan to go to farmington this friday night and then hpj dragging rights at piedmont on the 22nd

Was hoping to see you next weekend at our big all weekend event. Track will be prepped to actually hold your car, and we are planning on having a lot of time to test since we are doing this as a 2 day thing
