I will later tonight.
All credit score is, I'm too greedy and impatient so I buy things I can't afford. What's crazy is banks think these people are the people to loan money to. Those that don't have money to begin with.
If you don't have debt you don't have a credit score. Where I want to be one day.
Why in the world do you need credit when you have money to buy things?
All a credit score tells you is that you have debt or had debt recently. I would much rather have 3 million in the bank with no debt than have 800 credit score.
we both win, the ones that lose are the ones that can't control their spending or those (like yourself) that don't take advantage of what is available to them.
You can't get a credit score with zero debt. You had debt, then paid it off.meh .. I would rather be no debt and a credit score in the 800s pretty much where I am now
You can't get a credit score with zero debt. You had debt, then paid it off.
That's the point. And if you read my other post it says how it can be done interest free. If you get a major card with cash back and pay it off monthly you can get your credit score up without paying interest as well. Getting along without a credit score is difficult at best when it comes to buying things like a house. Or a car

What are you even trying to argue about?Paying it off monthly does not mean you are debt free. It means you are in debt every month.

If your employer has to borrow money to do payroll, I'd get out fast!Just like my employer is in debt to me until the next paycheck? Am I also in debt when paying cash for a service? I mean, I don't feed them a dollar for every step of progress that is made during a project, so I must be in debt at some point during the process, right?
You can't fix stupid...

THANK YOU captain obvious! wow dont' think we would have known this unless you pointed it out. I mean I, at least, feel so much more enlightened now that you have explained this to me. I think I will go have a beer to celebrate my new found knowledgePaying it off monthly does not mean you are debt free. It means you are in debt every month.
this entire post is bullshit. unmitigated bullshit.I'm not arguing anything. I'm stating the banks get rich because people(who stay poor) choose to buy things they can't afford and you don't need a credit score to get a mortgage.
and you don't need a credit score to get a mortgage.
