when i try to shift gears in my car it is very very hard to change them what do you guy think it could be??

Seriously, you need to give us more info to go on. Tell us about your car, mileage, mods, driving style etc etc. and it will help narrow down the problem.
Hey Postban, your solid axle swap write-up kicks ass. Thanks so much for taking the time to do that. I was ordering parts last week and rattling part numbers off to the guy. It made things go so much smoother:thumbsup: The parts guy said usually when people call in, they don't even know what they need much less have the part number ready to go.

my car has 24000 miles on it new clucth and i drive a little bit hard
How long ago was the clutch installed? Do you use an aftermarket firewall adjuster and clutch quadrant? I recommend it.
about 3 weeks ago i think it might be the shifter i bought a mgw and going to put it in this weekend
