i dont think you should compare to 03 cobra vids...compression, boost, and mods in general have a huge effect on the sound.

to respond though, either one is going to sound great. It would be really hard for me to make a decision also. I used to HATE borla stuff, but on the right set ups, i have come to like it. It is much harder to make a borla set up sound good, because i think a MAC or chambered exhaust in general is pretty easy to sound good. I think i would have to stay with the Mac on a mach 1 though...

I shot that 3rd video...although the sound quality is pretty good...it does NO justice to how badass it sounds in person. Stingers FTW

so far on my mach i have had slp, borla and now finally bassani. my old 2v had a mac catback and i loved it, but traded for borlas...when i put those borlas on the mach, i didnt like the sound. i would say to keep the mac catback.

here are some vids for u to consider. my mach with o/r prochamber and borlas.

startup

take off

and fly by

that setup was too loud for me so i switched it to bassani catted X and catback. that is here..

If I were you I would keep the Mac and switch to an O/R X pipe. IMO Mac is the best sounding catback you can get but I just wish it were louder. I used to have Mac 3" on my car and now I am running Stingers. They are both sick exhausts.

if you got the money and you want to, do it. i am contemplating the same swap. i have an american thunder catback. but i dont have $800 to buy the borla stingers. i also hate the fact that i will have a catback laying around that i have to store then try to sell. my car would look sweet with a polished catback with polished 4 "rolled tips. the flowmasters look so dull under my car. i thought about just welding in the borla mufflers but i hate half doing stuff.
