I just bumped to 650hp (unconfirmed) (no dyno yet) and need to do the trans. I need bottom line upgrades. I know I need new clutch my be a TD and a 26spline but, what else do I realy need to make it hold and not detonate?

I think the Centerforce DFX is the only clutch that will hold that power level other then a twin disk. The 26 spine shaft is all you should need for the T-56

A twin disc is the best route by far, the Zoom twin disc clutches are reasonably priced and work great also.

Otherwise:
Single disc
Spec 3+ clutch
Flywheel
26 Spline

Things to consider:
Head cooling mod
Freeplay kit
Firewall adjuster
Quadrant

I have a McLeod retainer sleeve too

I already addressed all the cooling issues and have ugraded to a full Bassanni set up and have a 3.10 pulley on my Whipple, as well as new idlers, and soon after a couple of passes on the dyno a good safe tune on pump gas. So all the goodies. I just need an outside opinion on what I really need as far as trans work to hold the power. I am making a street terror, not a track star. The place I got the car sitting @ says alot of other stuff and need to weed through the Bull.

Upgraded radiator / heat exchanger.
