So I bought this car a couple months ago for a DD. I was going to flat black it because the paint was so bad, but my wife vetoed that shit. So I have decided to use it as a test bed for paint correction techiques. Most of this car was repainted and not clear coated, which only added to the hazing and dull finish. I bought it from a kid that used it to do donuts and burnouts in front of his house, no big surprise it looked like ass.
The process
wet sand with 3M 600, 1000,1500,2000 (by hand)
Megs 105/megs red cutting pad on PC (3-5 passes)
Megs 205/meg yellow polishing pad
205/tan finishing pad
Megs Ultimate Wax by hand

First pic shows after wet sanding on the right, first pass with 105 on the right.

I really like this show of the quarter panel, good depth and reflection.

Got some of the metallic coming out.

Did you take the pictures with a flip phone?

iPhone 4s. Much easier to put them on photobucket from the app rather than plugging the camera into the computer. Are they bad quality?

Edit - I see what your talking about, the resize fudged them up a little bit.
