New best.....still rocking the Eaton!!

Been 8 years since I last made a pass with my car......got married, started a family etc. Finally got back into it last winter and swapped the T-56 for an auto. Previous best was 10.65 @ 130. I have not touched the OEM engine, still just a ported Eaton (upper/lower), no nitrous.

Great day today, DA was right around +1,000 feet all day, nice cool dry fall air. Car weighs 3515# with me in it. Both passes were off the foot brake. I tried the trans brake but blew the tires off. I think I need slicks before I try the brake again. The old school MT drag radials I'm using are finicky.

I made one pass today with a ported Eaton and went 128. Last ported setup went 131.76. Just have to follow the other guys who have done it before and get a good tune, then run it hard and ice the hell out of it.

I went with a Rossler TH400 and ProTorque converter. The tires are about 9 years old, they don't even make them anymore........I'm running 295/55/15's. When these are done I will likely switch to the 275 Pro's.

I knew he was with maryland, but I thought I saw that he was the strength coach at PSU after maryland. Either way, he knows how to get us into the 10s at 130+ and he seems to be a solid guy.
