may be hard to tell by this picture but does this look like a stock shifter?
the shift knob has been changed obviously.

Pull the boot off and verify. Very simple to do. Pop the bezel off and unplug the cigarette lighter.

Congratulations! Looks like a nice Terminator. I definitely would go with some lowering springs to enhance the appearance of the car (and get rid of the excessive fender to tire gap). I would work on aligning the rear exhaust because the right side is lower. That's easy to do.

As far as the shifter, it's hard to tell if it's a stock shifter without removing the boot as Maple said above. Definitely easy to do. When you remove the boot, check to see if it has a gasket between the shifter and the mounting plate. If not, I highly recommend that you pick up one of my Shifter Gasket Kits. Gear case related noise will be greatly reduced or eliminated and the next time you pull the shifter it will be an easier process because you don't use messy silicone sealer.

Enjoy your "new" Cobra! :)

Thank you!
Yes springs were on my list of things to do right away but first i need rear tires though so i can get an inspection sticker, and eventually i will even out the exhaust and polish the pipes up that's a winter project .

You'll love the look of polished pipes. A bit of work, of course, but well worth it IMO.
