So what are we expecting here for a GT500 advantage? A minimum of a full second and 5mph?

M6 vs M6 I'd say more like half a second, the A6s less than that. Trap speeds maybe 5-7mph. With the combination of 3.31s, 400lbs less weight and 60hp+ more the GT500 will start running away by buses once traction is out of the equation IMO.

Didn't the article say the M6 was .1 sec faster than the Auto? Going back to read now...

Edit.. It's in the "cutout" titled automatic for the people. At the end it states the A6 managed the same 0-60 time but .1 less in the 1/4 time. It does have a higher top speed though.

According to the latest published numbers, the M6 Z is in the 4050-4080# range, putting it around 200-230# heavier than the estimated weight of the Shelby. I'm sure the A6 will at another 75-100#. GM always seems to come in lighter than their reported weight.

Where have you read that? I see 4120lbs everywhere including this article.

The GT500 minus shaker 1000 = 3750lbs

I am discounting the 4120 some mags are using as simply copying the mfg claim, as that happens to be exactly what GM published.

Still have yet to see a 3750# stock Shelby. I question a sub really weighing 100#. No ones really knows what the 13 will weigh

there have absolutely been some '11-'12 GT500s with the SVTPP that have come in at ~3750lbs. and the shaker 1000 adds 70lbs, we've known this since at least 2008.
the number floating around for the '13 shelby GT500 is 3850lbs, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.

We dont know whats included in the 3850. Is this the base GT500, Base with track pack/performance pack, or loaded? We dont know. I would wager it gained some weight over the 12. My best guess would be 50-70lbs.
