New Lightning!

Well hello im 17 and have a 1993 Lightning, and am wondering what types of cheap mods I can do to it, I was thinking about ford racing headers, and a replacement electric fan, and cai.

But i was wondering what brand of replacement fan that you guys like, and if there are any CAIs out there, also if this- http://www.knfilterchargers.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=57-2517 actually does anything.

i think the ford headers are supposed to be the hardest install. lots of people going with the bassani. flexalite on the fans. pt # flx-220. i thin mac makes a cai.

Might want to upgrade the tranny if you are going to go for some serious mods too.

Why do you get banned? I think the people over there are cool. The mods seem pretty cool too, but I stay in the gen 1 section for the most part.

I was checking out the 220 model in my jegs catalog, and it said that the 220 did not come with an adj thermostat is that fine and dandy, or should you really get one with the adj thermostat?

Hedman makes a good set of headers($150),but you'd have to throw together a custom exhaust.

JDM/Kooks also sells a set of LTs,but there very expensive.

Bassani and maybe those Ford racing header(I haven't heard anything about these) are you're only options if you want to keep your stock exhaust.

If you decide to get a full exhaust system go to Pickrel performance he'll customize it to you're needs and it sounds and looks badass.
