Went to my local track yesterday and ran a new best.
Previous best was a 12.38 @ 116 with a 1.85 60 ft.
Yesterday a 12.31 @116 1.96 sixty foot.
I can't get this car to leave. Any suggestions on how to get a better sixty foot.

Slowly whittling down your ET!!

What was the difference in your launches from the 1.85 60' to the 1.96 60'? Track prep? What tires are you running?

nice et's! Did you completely disengaging the tc/advancetrac this time? (push tc button and hold for 7 seconds)

The conditions we experienced 3 weeks ago (2/26) in Rockingham were borderline perfect (-760ft DA) compared to +1000ft DA yesterday. The difference in conditions probably offset your gains from completely disengaging the tc. I'm guessing you could have went 12.1-12.2 back on the 26th with tc completely turned off.

I was trapping 123+ that day I met you, then 2 weeks later went to ZMax/+300ft DA and couldnt break 119mph. However, I was completely disengaging tc (unlike on the 26th) and lowered my et's to 11.58 with 4mph lower :dw:

I might make it to Rockingham on Fri April 6th for the next T&T

The traction control was turned completely off-held the button for 7 seconds. I've tried everything--dumping the clutch, slipping the clutch, best 60 ft was when i launched @4,000 anything over that and it spun real bad. The car will leave and then fall on it's face.thinking about changing the gear. car has a 3.31 gear and i use a 275/40/17 MT drag radial any suggestions would be greatly appeciated.

I'd go with 3.55's and a set 15x10 rt-s welds with either 275/60's or 275/50's MT ET streets. The welds are inexpensive, forged alloy, and very light. I've been cutting 1.6x's consistently with this setup.

any suspension parts? I'd look into some good u/l control arms and then try launching harder. if it bogs right after you take off then you need to rev up a little bit more.
