New PB last night only 3rd trip to track.

I finally found time to make it out to the track last night and was able to run 12.17 @ 113 with a 1.81 sixty foot time.

The biggest mod still needed is the “driver mod” this was only my third trip ever to the dragstrip & there is lots of room for improvement... My previous best with the stock tune was a 12.81 @ 108 with a 2.0 sixty foot time.

I was very happy with the cars performance & there is definitely some solid 11 second passes just waiting!

For your mods trap should be way better.

^ agreed. Bone stock I trapped 112.84mph @ 12.81. Nice ET though!

yeah OP my auto traps 116 with Boss IM, 3" Xpipe and JLT with a 93 tune... and many think its underperforming. Your MPH is way low.

I’m sure if I let one of the JPC crew pilot the car the times & trap speed would be much better.

With the mods I picked up .7 & 5 mph from my previous best, which I am very happy with… And there is still more left in the car.

I was leaving between 4500 & 5000 the gear shifts were around 7200, which should be around 7600 and to be honest I wasn’t comfortable doing that until I get a shift light installed. From what I have heard it’s not a real good thing to keep bouncing these motors off of the rev limiter!

I didn’t come in here to set records or Nutswing as some call it… Just having fun driving my car, working on my driving skills & challenging myself.

At least I did get to smoke a Hot Rodded Turbo Ricer last night!

No, 28 X 10.5 stiff wall slicks & yes I know the 60 ft. times should be much better... That would be where the driver mod would come in.
The first 3 passes all had 60's at 2.0 or above. The last 2 passes I changed the burnout & got 1.8's they should be somewhere around 1.65 to 1.7.

Looks like you need to get the 60ft down also what size tire ? 26or28 tall?

28" Slick... and from what I have seen I should be able to get 1.60 or better on the 60 foots once I figure out how to launch this car.

Still you sure the tune is spot on? Trap is still low. Should be running 118 no mater what your et is.

I'm going down to JPC next Saturday for the Dyno Day & open shop so I'll talk with them guys while I'm there... I'm sure Ill get this running like it should with more seat time & fine tuning if needed.

I'm leaning more towards the driver mod at the moment because the car runs great with no issues or CEL's.. much stronger than the stock tune. I have a feeling JPC knows how to tune these cars.

some seat time should get you where you want to be.

look me up when your down there, I'll be around all day & my black car will be there as well.
