I wanted to started logging on my 97 Cobra. I am wondering what are the normal conditions to log, what parameters, and what are normal ranges?

I saw that some people where logging 3rd gear at ~1700rpm to redline. Is there an alternative to log in 2nd gear?

Sorry if there was a sticky for this and I'm bad at the forum searching.

A lot of people log in third because they know they won’t get any wheelspin making a pull on the street

I have Rev-X, and looking to understand more about what is good and what is bad data on these cars. I got the ol' Bama email tune. I managed 2 pulls, both in 2nd gear. Not sure what I should expect as good at this point, but seemed slow.

Datalog has many different parameters, at this point log whatever makes sense and is useful.

All depends on what's done to the car. If you wanna dm me your email I'll be glad to send you a log you can view on sct live link. I was underwhelmed about my car when it was stock. Now it's fbo/e85 with 4.30s and runs great
