NGS Scan Tool

Anyone know anything about the "NGS" scan tool mentioned in the service manual? My Ford dealer said they can't (or won't) order them for anyone. I looked on eBay and couldn't find any. Are these available? Are they obscenely expensive? Are there any alternatives?

They are definately "obscenely expensive". My friend purchaced one from the Mac Tools guy that came by the shop. Upwards of $3500 if I remember correctly.

What do you need one for? I think Diablo has a device that allows you to pull codes. There are some aftermarket ones available for a lot less money. They don't do everything the NGS will do, but they may do what you want it to do.
