here are a few of the pics i took this last sunday at the national time trials that the nhra had here in phoenix arizona. i took these all on my canon rebel xt.

its deafining thats for sure! the first few cars that went down the track made me jump until i got use to it. the most insane part is feeling the earth shake, and your vision blur as they go by, its just insane!!!

The Al Anabi racing team is getting into every aspect of drag racing. It's crazy.
The owner is the Sheik of Dubai. He owns part of our company where I work. The new ZR1 that we have in our shop, to put nitrous on, belongs to him as well. Must be nice to have billions of dollars. And be in your 20's.

If you are a racing fan, its something you NEED to experience. My favorite class is Prostock, but Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars put on a great show. Like AzSonicSnake said, its deafening, vision blurs, earth shakes, and just watch out for the floating green cloud of nitro methane, lol. When it comes by you, you wont be able to see or breath, lol, its awesome. I go to the Gatornationals every year :beer:

You are right every one needs to experience the Nitro cars. Carried my 25 yr old Daughter to Bristol last year and she was hooked after that:banana:
