Is there a provision for the factory shift fork cover and does the SFI bell housing need to be re-certified every 5 years or so to stay current?

hmm..what am I not seeing here? the "rev limiter" doesnt "limit" the revs? and its electronic not mechanical??

If you shift from 2nd to 1st instead of 3rd by accident your rev limiter cant stop the over rev. The only thing to stop a mechanical over rev would be to quickly disengage the clutch. A friend did that in his cup car and spun over well over 10 grand. His motor ate some valves.
