Nitrous on an 03'

Anyone running the spray on an 03 that can inform me if I can run a 50 shot without timing retard. I am running a 2.93 upper so the boost is 13.5 to 14 with diablo chip tunned for it. Will a 50 shot without further tunning cause me to detonate?

My thinking, and correct me if I am wrong, a 50 shot is not huge but along with the horsepower from the nitrous my intake charge temp should drop as well with even more benifit.

i want something like a 35-50 shot to cool every thing down. i have heard some amazing power increases with nothing more than a 50 shot. i wouldnt think it would cause/increase probability of detonation, but thats just my thinking.

find out where your timing is at...get a scan tool. Stock is 19-20 degrees of advance, some of your more aggresive tunes are running 23-25 degrees of advance.

Mine runs 22.8 degrees at WOT

My dealer is mod friendly, so maybe the could hook up to it and tell me what my timing curve is.
