hi we have no power at the fuel pump car turns over fine, the car has an aftermarket alarm system any ideas where this would be wired into we had heard the pcm, and how do we disable or bypass the alarm. any help appreciated. or any common problems as why the fuel pump would not be getting power . car is stock except for intake.

Not sure on the alarm. Usually they hang out near the in car fuse panel.

I would attack it like normal.

Check the fuel pump fuse and if there is power across it.

Check the inertia switch.

I never really had to dig into this system as far as diagnosing, and I’ve gone return already.

Pin3 and 10 on the Fpdm are what turn the pumps on and off. Whichever is ground (I can’t recall) is what the PCM switches to control the pumps.

You should have key on power back to the fpdm at one of those pins.

If this is a control issue, the alarm or a failed cam position sensor could be preventing the PCM from enabling the pumps.

Do the pumps even prime when you turn the key to run before cranking?

No they dont, no pressure at the rail either

I wouldn’t worry about cam sensors providing a rpm signal then.

Start with the fuse and inertia switch.

As mentioned above, is the PATS anti theft light flashing?

Regarding your aftermarket alarm, you’d need to Google it and find out if it even inhibits the engine starting. Some are just alarms and that’s it.

Did you actually check for power and where,

Or your guessing no fuel because it cranks over,,and nothing at rail ,

Than more story if possible,
Was car ok ,parked and next use was no start,
Was work done and now no start.

I had after market alarm cause no start,,
Mine was tapped in near in car fuse box.zipped tied to harness,,just unplugged box and car has been fine. I can't recall if it was a crank no start or just nothing,

Let me see if I can locate old post on it

Update,
here is thread, but it was clicking and no crank,

The plug on rear bumper?
This will only have power for secs than off,

I use this plug to directly power pump to remove gas from tank. Others have used fpdm connection as mentioned
