Hey Folks,
Hoping I can get some advice and insight to a problem I'm having.
A few weeks ago I started hearing exact noise posted in the video, and from a previous thread.
Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing
I have 03 cobra with stock eaton, 2.75 blower pulley, diablo box tune, cold air kit, x-pipe.
Anyway it started making the above sound lightly at first then progressively louder.
Now it seems to have went away for the time being, but I still believe there is an issue. The sound seemed to be more apparent at cold start ups, but past few days continued even after the car warmed up.
I strongly believe it is the blower and either a bearing or coupler, but I'm not an expert and hoping for some tips.
I took the drive belt off to see if I could spin the blower feel any vibrations or roughness. I did notice when I spin the pulley clockwise it does not make a full rotation before stopping.
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Tony
