If you cruise this area between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (after the morning commute and before the evening commute) you will find some wild races. Mostly Europeans: S4's, M3's, Porsche's are tearing up the roads. I raced an M3 from 30mph up to almost 140mph and beat him by a few car lengths. I then got brave and found a Porsche Carrera who ate me alive. From 2nd gear I had him but when I shifted to 3rd, he blew by me like I was standing still. Our cars don't handle that well as my front end felt like it was floating at about 140mph and the steering started to get dicey. I've been cruising this area for a couple of years and find more and more guys doing the high speed stuff. On the frontage road in Burlingame you will occasionally find guys doing 1/4 mile drags. Check it out!!!!

That's where I raced that M5 I posted about. Going 280S after Millbrae.

As far as racing on the frontage road in Burlingame, that seems a little unsafe to me. A two lane road with residential units on one side and a freeway sound wall on the other. I think I'll pass.

Glad to hear you live in the area. What color is your car? Is it a vert?
