Not familiar with tire sizes for 17x10.5

I'm buying a cobra w/ 10.5 chrome reps in the back to match the 17x9 chrome fronts. It currently has Nitto DRs on them and I want to go with a better tire for handling on the road.

What size tires are good for 17x10.5? I used to have 18x10.5 and used the BFG KDW2 295/35/18 and loved em. I'd like something similar for the 17s.

Any help is appreciated.

315/35/17 are perfect for that rim

Just be sure to grind down those IRS bolts if they are not already done and possibly a small spacer. I did the bolts and a 1/8 spacer. Perfect now....

I too run 1/8 spacers and I have the low profile IRS Bolts. Ive been running 305/35/17 MT Drag radials on my 10.5 wheels with no issues. I think the MT street radial is the best of both worlds as far as handling and traction goes, at least the best that fits into my budget.
