Not seeing full boost...why????

I have a KB 2.2...19 lb pulley.

Took the car out last night....didnt beat on it.
I did do a 1st gear pull to about 5000 RPM and everything was cool.

Then after that, the car would not see full boost. I noticed it when I tried to get back on it again and I was able to mash the gas all the way to the floor...that is someing I can NEVER do in the first to gears. Boost would go to abour 11 or 12.

Things I checked.

-BAP is running.
-Swapped FPRS this morning
-Sprayed brake cleaner in whole engine bay with car running.
-Blocked off boost tube going to gauge to see if boost was leaking there.

What else can I check?
I did get the 02 sensor stuck signal code. But I do not see how that would effect how much boost the blower puts out.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I checked for that too.
The only thing I didnt check was the EGR valve. How would I check that?

Wow, you did a super job finding the issue and fixing it. Was it an obvious thing or did you just know where to look? :beer:

Someone else told me to check it. Said it happend to a number of KB owners....
Sounds like they need to use some Loctite. That thing is nearly impossible to get to. I may have to lift the blower up to do it :(

if there was a vaccum leak somewhere the brake cleaner would get sucked in and you would hear the car rev up some

Woes just now beginning.
The screw that back out, I ended up dropping. Now it's gone forever.
Now I have to call KB to order 1...maybe 2 just to be safe. To get that thing in without raising the blower back up is a major PITA.
