I have a friend who is 5'6 and he carries a 1911 in an appendix holster.. I have no idea how he does it. I'd be afraid I would get confused and draw my ****.

LMFAO, bet he has that belt cinched tight to keep his pants from falling down...I love my 1911s, but they stay in the night stand/glove box. I would never be able to get comfortable trying to conceal something like a full sized 1911 and it would probably print like a mofo.

I am pre-programmed to love my Beretta M9A1. That is about as close as I have to a full frame 1911. Everything else have have is smaller framed, and ranges from 380 to .40. If I can't stop you or put you down with one of those, it is probably because my arms fell off. And even then, I am pretty sure I can macgyver a way to still put a few ounces of lead down range.
