I don't know man. I've watched a TON of hockey over the years and people move weird when their both moving 20MPHs and collide.
The only thing I've ever seen that could be close to considered on propose is when Cooke cut Karlssons Achilles tendon years ago.
Some lines even hockey players wont cross.

the thing is, obviously the other player didn’t intend to cut the guy… was likely trying to hit / impede his advance…. Manslaughter

I used to skate a lot back in the day… and have taken massive spills…. I dont see a high level athlete skater raising their leg like that, unless it was a MASSIVE hit or on purpose….

The guy that cut did not get SLAMMED… just a regular tackle/block…. Did not warrant the “kick” IMHO.

Did you lose it? When I was like 3ish (I can’t exactly remember but it’s definitely one of my earliest memories), I got the tip of my middle finger cut off in a heavy door. The heavy auto closing ones that go from the garage to the house.

No I still have it. I actually kept skating for an hour or so before it was time to go. I kept my finger in my jeans pocket to slow/stop the bleeding.
You can very faintly see the scar, just above my knuckle.
