wtf lol
I am looking at buying a detached house in Toronto with a lot wide enough for an oversized 2 car garage and it is pretty tough to get. Vancouver house prices are pretty ****ed though. Not that Toronto is any better.Right about what that would cost in Vancouver.
It's one of the many reasons I moved away from the city. My 470k house would cost a couple million in Vancouver.I am looking at buying a detached house in Toronto with a lot wide enough for an oversized 2 car garage and it is pretty tough to get. A tiny home in Toronto just sold for over $800,000 above asking price | Urbanized
CT isn't any better. In fact, its getting worse cause so many ppl are leaving NY city for the suburbs of CT. Im about an hour from NY city and houses here are on the market for like 29 minutes! Good time to sell!
When the market in Vancouver went nuts my parents sold their town house and it went for 180k over asking... I can't comprehend it.PA is this way as well, I am in the market and I'm having to fight all these NJ and NY assholes who are fleeing the destruction they voted in place.
The last house I put an offer in on this past Sunday, I offered 10,000 over asking price and was still beat out. The house had 18 offers on it, I'll be curious to see what the final sale price was when that info hits zillow.
Not only that but the push to work from home has people moving more rural. The crash is coming there.... the flight from major cities especially ones taxed as badly as NYC is real and has picked up exponentially since the pandemic and the rioting chaos that's followed.
+1There is literally no dollar amount you could pay me to live there
