Okay...what do you guys make of this?

carnuba wax plants free
wax containers......buy in bulk ...dirt cheap
ups....average uuhhhh ......2.00 to ship

all this adds up to the consumer....really expensive!
but i'm one of the suckers that buy it!
oh and this is solid info where the wax comes from...i know a guy!

Real carnauba comes from the leaves of a palm tree. The processing and packaging is probably the only real cost, but some of the better products out there have some proprietary blends of synthetic and chemical additives to assist longevity and durability. Carnauba by itself is really not very durable and melts at a pretty low temp.

It melts at around 110 or 120 *F I believe. Pure Carnuba will make a car look much better, but will not last more than a few days. It's more for shows and events to make the car look it's best temporarily.
