Opinions on my lifted Ram. Keep or trade for newer Ram?

Traded my 97 Mustang GT 5speed for this because I neeeded a truck bad..
(for hauling trash, furniture and for a work truck)

Should I keep this 99 ram (4door 4x4, SLT package), or trade it for a newer 2003+ ram 4door 4x4 unlifted?
I figure the 9" skyjacker lift kit & mud tires and aftermarket rims on my ram pushes the value up with the 03ish stock 4door rams.

(just for the record, that checkered flag is in the ground, not in the back of the truck)

(I dont mean trade at a dealership, talking about a straight trade on craigslist.)

I actually don't care for f250s. I've always hated trucks but the 94+ Ram is appealing to me. Like the newer Titans and Tundras too but those are out of my price range. Right now I'm thinking a 2003+ ram would fit me better.

Your mods aren't going to improve the value much, just the way it is.

Keep it. Looks good lifted. Only reason to trade would be a newer mega cab. Those are sweet

If it runs good and doesn't give you allot of problems and it's paid for ,why trade it in? Your just going to spend more money on a newer truck that will be worth the same as this one in a couple of years.

Real talk. If you need a newer truck go for it but the 30k miles I put on our former 08 3500 cummins turned me further away from dodges then I already was. The cummins was great but that's about it. The truck fell apart. A lot of simple problems that were annoying and unexplainable for a truck that was 4 years old and has 80k on it.

Your Ram looks to be in very nice shape, so unless you're having issues or just want a change, keep it.

Not worth the risk of trading for someone elses nightmare (potentially). I agree with CobraBob, if it runs/drives great, keep it!

Wherever the gov't tells me.
+1 vote for keeping it and changing the wheels. I have an 03, which I love, but no offense I wouldn't do an even trade for an older truck, even if it is lifted with wheels/tires.
