Received a Vin July 23rd , no build date as of today.

I have a 2008 Shelby GT 500 Red w/white stripes . Great Info here

MSRP deal from a small dealer, one of those hand shake deals. no deposit down
just don't come across these kind of dealers anymore .

UPDATE : I was able to pull up my window sticker this morning shows a blend 0508..does this mean build date of 8/05/12 or with in a few days ?

It means your car was built on 8/5

actually chris, it means his car was put on the build line on 08/05...its probably built today or tomorrow

No, Blend date is the day the chassis and motor/trans come together on the line, aka "build date" . Car is usually "bucked" a day before that.

Where at in west Texas r u? I am in Abilene. Ordered mine from a dealer near Ft Worth on 26 May. Still awaiting a build date. Congrats on such a quick build date.:bowdown: One day i will get one of those:cuss:

Midland, the dealers here only received 2 allocations each, 2 for midland and 2 for odessa. I had to order one from a small dealer in NM. They have a great relationship with there Ford Rep, that is the key to getting what you want built in a timely manner.

No, all of there allocations were already spoken for, both have a list of 13 or more people waiting to order a Shelby. the dealer I ordered mine from might be able to order another 13, don't know for sure.
